Igor Simčič, founder of the Esimit Europa project, and Vladimir Liubomirov, commodore of the Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg, developed an initiative for coaching young perspective Russian sailors in various Olympic classes. Knowledge and sailing experience will be shared with young sailors by the Esimit Sailing Team members, multiple Olympic medal winners, World and European Champions in different sailing classes. "Conveying the theoretical and practical sailing knowledge to the young hopes of the Russian sailing is yet another step towards deepening the relationship between Europe and the Russian Federation. Therefore, I warmly welcome the cooperation with the Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg by which we will coach young perspective sailors, who will shape the future of sailing. In this regard, our crew members will individually share the experience with the youngsters and help develop their full potential," said Igor Simčič, founder of the Esimit Europa project.

Vladimir Liubomirov further commented: "Our aim is to evolve sailing for the youth in Saint Petersburg. For our Sailing Academy we have worked out a solid program and attracting the successful and most proficient sailors to coach is a big part of this program. I’m happy that this long-term project has been put into practice with great help of Igor and his team, and I’m sure that the outcome will be rewarding. It is important to Russian sailing that young sailors are supported and encouraged to get more deeply involved in this amazing sport and achieve good results".
