About Esimit Europa project
The Esimit Europa project has been for 15 years a symbol of blurring borders and connecting nations and is under patronage of Jose Manuel Barroso, president of the European Commission.
The project gained a whole new dimension in 2010 with an Esimit Europa 2 yacht, all-star sailing crew and support from European Energy, a powerful online movement to improve the quality of life in Europe.
The goal of the project in 2010 is to extend the Pan-European idea to every country on the European continent by acquiring a new competitive yacht that would enable it to win the largest sailing races under the European colors.
At the same time it would raise the awareness of European citizens about the future challenges and showcase the best ways to respond to them.
