Esimit Europa was recognised as the main donator in the year 2015 by the Foundation Vrabček Upanja (Sparrow of Hope) for the donation with the purpose of buying new necessary equipment and medical devices for the ward for disabled youth and rehabilitation at Stara Gora and the Maternity Department of the hospital in Šempeter pri Gorici. Besides the donations, Esimit Europa was also the main sponsor of the charity football match that was held in Bilje near Nova Gorica (Slovenia), in the region where the project was founded 20 years ago.
In order to thank the main donator and present the donations report to the public, the foundation organised a press conference that was attended by the hospital's director Dr. Nataša Fikfak, head of the ward for disabled youth and rehabilitation at Stara Gora Dr. Jurij Karapandža, and the president of the foundation management board Darja Povšič Peršolja.
At this occasion Igor Simčič, founder of the Esimit Europa project, has received the Golden Sparrow statuette as the main donator of the year 2015.
