The Esimit Europa project has been granted the official patronage of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, H.E. Mr Thorbjørn Jagland.

The Council of Europe is the leading European organization for the protection of human rights and in synergy with the Esimit Europa project promotes collaboration between countries. Both are engaged in creating a sense of community on a pan-European level while bringing people together and showing the great value of teamwork, friendship and cooperation of all Europeans.

By sailing under the European flag, the Esimit Europa project is a unique example, showing that with a firm vision, determination and mutual trust, the European continent can achieve great success and reach its full potential. We are privileged that the Secretary General of the Council of Europe noted the unifying power of sailing strengthened through the Esimit Europa project and are grateful for his support, which is a great motivation for our future endeavors.
