PALERMO - MONTE CARLO
[August 18 – 23]
The race is set across the Mediterranean, joining two coastal cities, Palermo and Monte Carlo. It is organized by the Circolo della Vela Sicilia in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco. The symbolic idea behind the 500 nautical miles sailing adventure is a true twinning of the two cities, their citizens and the two most renowned sailing clubs. As the member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, Esimit Europa 2 is a symbol of the race and it is its great honour to compete for the club. After setting a course record in 2010 and taking line honours in 2011, in 2012 Esimit Europa 2 tackled the challenge of light winds and took line honours for the third time in a row.
